Spent the week of July 13-17 in Houston, Texas at Rice University for training in A.P. U.S. History. Had an excellant teacher, Jim Smith, from New Mexico. Not to bore you with details but found his lessons very helpful in planning for this coming school year.
Also found time to visit with the kids and grandkids (a couple of super meals too). The weather was warm and dry. The last time I was there it was hot and wet!
I'm looking forward to a couple of relaxing weeks before we start in-service classes for this coming year at school. I'll be starting my 25th year of teaching.
