My daughter and I attended this year's Texas- Oklahoma football game in Dallas. We had a wonderful time and came home with a Texas victory (16-13). I've heard this is the last year that the game will be played in the Cotton Bowl. Sad because so much football history has been made on that field- Bobby Layne, Doke Walker, Jim Swink, Jim Brown, Earl Campbell, Joe Namath, Rodger Staubach, etc. Not to mention the Dallas Cowboys of old. We were determined to attend this last game.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll post some pictures we took. Enjoy and if you remember some of the history of the Cotton Bowl enjoy those memories again.
